Exhibition and preservation of old toys as an art form and as a testimony of our culture.
The museum presents our collection of significant, antique toys in original condition. On three floors you can admire rare and perfectly kept exhibits from around 1730 up to 1960.

EMYA Nomination The Toy Museum is nominated by the "European Museum Forum"
In 2009 we had submitted our entry to the competition "European Museum of the Year Award 2010". This meant sending in folders with specific, detailed information about the museum's philosophy and public activities, it also meant being visited and judged by two neutral members of the jury, in our case experts from England and Norway.
At the yearly congress of the "European Museum Forum" in Tampere, Finnland, we were given a "Nomination" for having high standards and outstanding public qualities.
