The museum presents on three floors a private collection of culturally significant, antique toys in original condition.
In more than 90 aluminium and glass showcases you can admire rare and perfectly kept exhibits from around 1730 up to 1960

EMYA Nomination The Toy Museum is nominated by the "European Museum Forum"
In 2009 we had submitted our entry to the competition "European Museum of the Year Award 2010". This meant sending in folders with specific, detailed information about the museum's philosophy and public activities, it also meant being visited and judged by two neutral members of the jury, in our case experts from England and Norway.
At the yearly congress of the "European Museum Forum" in Tampere, Finnland, we were given a "Nomination" for having high standards and outstanding public qualities.
Museum hours: Sunday through Friday from 2 to 6 p.m.
